Forty Below Records will release Weight of the World, the new album by award-winning Blues and Roots musician Joe Louis Walker. A Blues Hall of Fame inductee and six-time Blues Music Award winner, NPR described Walker as "a legendary boundary-pushing icon of modern blues."

In Too Deep is arguably a stronger album than Somebody Save Me, as fine as that was. Corne has had time to internalize Rayford's strengths and as a result, he writes to get the band to push him harder. Rayford responds with aplomb and delight. He commits fully to the lyrics, and goes further inside himself to communicate their nuances, even as he makes us dance.

Relix magazine premieres “Please Take My Hand” from In Too Deep, which is currently available for pre-order. Here Rayford gives voice to people who have faced struggles with oppression. He tells Relix, “This song is about unity regardless of color religion race or creed. We all live on the same planet so we are all brothers and sisters. Please take my hand.”
